Why PFS4 weighers are better.
Belt weighing suppliers generally design the mechanical components of a conveyor weighing system to be universal for all applications. This has economic virtue, but may not result in good belt weigher design. T.D. Micronic (TDM) and Control Systems Technology (CST) designers differentiate between applications, and build a weighing system appropriate to the application. High capacity conveyors do not weigh accurately if light steel sections are employed in the weigh-frame design due to unstable geometry under load. We select steel sizing for rigidity to lessen the error effect due to deflection under load.
PFS4 conveyor weighers are designed to achieve the specific accuracy demanded by our customers. There are many parameters that effect the accuracy and performance of belt weighers. To better assess the particular site requirements we provide clients a "Request for Technical Data Form." Each belt scale is custom engineered based on the mechanical structure, the dynamics of the conveyor and the carrying capacity for which the conveyor is designed.
